Privacy notice
What Weavex does with personal data: yours if you use Weavex or join its waitlist, and yours if a Weavex customer found you. Last updated 1 November 2026.
Who we are
Weavex is run by Marxel Ltd, company number 15994028, registered office Harben House, 13a Harben Parade, Finchley Road, London NW3 6LH. Write to privacy@weavex.ai with any question about your data.
If you joined the waitlist
We keep your work email address and your company’s email domain (the part after the @). If you joined with a form, that’s the address you typed, plus your name if the form asked for it. If you tried to sign in with Google or GitHub before your company could use Weavex, it’s the email address and name your account there shares with us. We also note how you joined and when we emailed you.
Weavex lets in whole companies at a time, by email domain. We use these details to decide when your company can sign up and to email you when it can, and, if you tried to sign in, to send one email saying you’re on the waitlist. To stop the form being misused, we count how many times it’s sent from your IP address in 10 minutes; that count is kept in memory only. We do this in our legitimate interests: you asked to join, and we need these details to answer you. We keep them until you ask us to delete them.
If you use Weavex
- Your account: your name, work email and, if you sign in with Google or GitHub, the profile picture it shares. We need these to give you an account (the contract with your company).
- Your workspace: your searches, lists, Do not contact list and chats with Weavex. They belong to your company, and we use them only to run Weavex for it.
- Billing: your company’s plan, credits and payments. Stripe takes card payments; we never see card numbers. We keep billing records for 6 years, as UK tax law requires.
- How you use Weavex: PostHog records the pages you open, what you click, page speed and recordings of your screen, linked to your account and workspace, so we can see what works and fix what doesn’t. In the app, recordings and clicks hide all text, so the names and emails on screen never reach PostHog, and anything you type is hidden. Sentry records errors so we can fix them. We do this in our legitimate interests in running and improving Weavex.
We keep account and workspace data while your company uses Weavex, and delete it within 30 days of its workspace closing, apart from billing records.
If a Weavex customer found you
Weavex helps businesses find people to contact about their products: decision-makers at companies that fit what the business sells. If a customer’s search found you, Weavex will have collected your name, job title, employer, the address of your public professional profile and what it says about your work, the company’s entry on the Companies House register, and your work email address, if one could be found and checked.
This comes from public professional profiles, the Companies House register and email-finding services, never from you directly. Weavex records where each detail came from, and shows it to the customer.
The customer who found you decides what happens to your details and is responsible for them (the “controller”); Weavex handles them for that customer (as its “processor”), and keeps them only in that customer’s workspace, or sends them where that customer tells it to, such as their own CRM through a webhook. If you’ve been contacted, you can ask that business to delete your details or stop contacting you. You can also write to privacy@weavex.ai: we’ll pass your request to every customer whose workspace holds your details and help them act on it, for example by deleting your details and putting you on their Do not contact list, so their future searches leave you out.
If you visit weavex.ai
PostHog counts visits and records how people use the site, using cookies, so we can see what’s working. It doesn’t know who you are unless you later sign in to Weavex.
Who handles data for us
- Vercel and Railway host the website, the servers and the database.
- Resend sends our emails. Stripe takes payments. PostHog (in the EU) records how Weavex is used. Sentry records errors.
- For searches: Exa finds public professional profiles, AnyAPI reads them, TypeSafe orders them by likely fit from their work history, Anthropic’s Claude scores them against the search, Companies House checks each company, and Treg finds and checks work email addresses (through BlitzAPI, QuickEnrich, AI Ark, Findymail, MillionVerifier and ZeroBounce).
They use data only to do this work for us. Some are in the United States; where data leaves the UK, it’s protected by the UK’s adequacy rules or the UK’s standard contract terms for international transfers.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your details, ask us to correct or delete them, or object to how we use them. Write to privacy@weavex.ai. If you’re unhappy with how we handle them, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
